Other Rosary pages are listed here for your enjoyment and use.  I have listed these because they represent the different and varied usages of Rosaries available in the world today as well as the depth of inspiration that impelled their creation.  Some of these links are links to traditional Rosary sites; others are links to Rosary sites not specifically Catholic but often "ecumenical" in character.  I offer a brief description of each.  These links will grow over time, so please come back regularly.  If you have suggestions for links, please email us!

How To Pray The Rosary -- An inspiring site dedicated to the Rosary, with links to other Rosary pages, artisans and articles. This site accepts prayer requests and is run by somebody who is committed to Our Lady and to the work of the Rosary. Their prayers, offered through the rosary, will be a great blessing for all who come to them in hope and need. This site gives instructions to anyone on how to pray the rosary, and offers all of the traditional prayers used in an around the rosary. This is a site to check often!

Resources to find Rosary Shops and Artisans

We recommend the use of the Seven Decade Rosary for reasons outlined in the introduction.  Although we find the Seven Decade to be preferred for use the the Rosaries of Divine Union, any Five Decade Rosary will work just as well for recitation of the Rosaries of Divine Union--one simply needs to "back up" two decades.  Here are links to places which allow you to buy pre-made rosaries or order custom-made rosaries for your use.  Seven Decade Rosaries are often available, but are usually limited in selection.  It is often the case that if you want a really nice Seven Decade model, you have to have one made for you by someone who does this kind of work.     

 Here are presented links to shops and artisans who can supply almost any kind of Rosary that you would desire, from rose petal and glass beads to semi-precious stones and with a wide range of center medals and crosses. Different artisans use predominantly one of several methods of making rosaries:  traditional linking (using silver or gold wire) or by stringing on a single wire or string.   Some use "wire wrapping" which makes for a far stronger Rosary, but takes more time and materials.  Expect to pay a little more for these.  Most have examples on their web pages so that you can see their work.  Prices for these products can vary widely, so it's wise to be clear on what you want and shop for what feels best for your needs.  Disclaimer:  we have not done business with any of these suppliers and cannot be responsible for them nor knowledgeable about them.  While we believe them to be honorable establishments and artisans, we present them solely for your convenience.

Mary's Prayers  Much more than a site to buy rosaries--this is a place to buy exquisitely crafted heirloom-quality rosaries which run the range from the simply beautiful to the simply stunning. Some appear breathtaking in their design and execution.  Chaplets of all kinds and rosaries of all kinds are available, and custom orders appear to be no problem.  Yet this is MUCH more than a retail outlet.  Stories of the Saints, prayers, and a large links section await the visitor.  This is not to be missed. 

A Garden Enclosed - A beautiful website showcasing beautiful rosaries made to be passed down the generations.  These rosaries come in a variety of materials and styles, with several models of Seven Decade rosaries as well as five decade and chaplets.  The site says "A Garden Enclosed rosaries are made using .019 Soft Touch wire, which is 50% stronger than Flex wire and more flexible. Wire rosaries are actually stronger than chain rosaries because there are no links that can stretch, separate or wear. Even soldered chain on most rosaries can be pulled apart with a purposeful tug, and the eyepins will separate much more quickly."  The website is graphically beautiful and full of prayers and quotes...well worth a visit!

Terracotta Originals - Rosaries made from the fruit of the earth--earth itself!  The beads and center medals are all hand made from clays, glazed and fired at over 2,000 degrees!  These are beautiful rosaries which allow one to be "grounded" in prayer in a very beautiful and unique way.  They do custom orders, and would entertain your five or seven decade desires joyfully. Each rosary is a unique creation and a cooperation between the imagination of the artist, the clay of the earth and the fire of the kiln. 

Mother Mary's Gemstone Peace Rosaries - This company is unique in that all monies above cost of products are donated to "For The Children", which is a foundation which supports a number of schools.  The rosaries are beautiful and can be designed and made for your specific desires.  They make rosary necklaces, chaplets and children's rosaries in an astonishing array of semi-precious stones.  Well worth investigating!

They do not appear to custom-make Rosaries.

Rosary Creations - Selection of handmade rosaries, rosary chaplets, and bracelets.  Appears to do custom work upon request.

The Rosary Workshop - Large selection of handmade rosaries made from "bead art" beads as well as beads of all kinds.  This is truly bead-lover's heaven!  It would appear that they may do custom work for you according to your desire, and one can only imagine the possibilities.  Well worth the visit!  A rosary from these folks is likely to be a real one-of-a-kind!

Charisen's Treasures - This company provides a wide variety of products, but their hand-crafted rosaries appear to be brilliant.  They are the only supplier known to us who makes "rosary necklaces", which are a beautiful yet convenient way to keep your Rosary with you all of the time as well as proclaim your faith for others.  They make use of many different stones and beads, and make many chaplets and Rosaries with Swarovski crystal.  Their prices are very reasonable and their selection is quite large.  They may do custom work, so please email them to ask.

Centering Prayer is available to all, and the foremost collection of resources is to be found at the home pages of Contemplative Outreach, which is the organization dedicated to spreading the opportunities for Centering Prayer.  This organization is the secular and outreach arm of Fr. Thomas Keating and others who have spent a lifetime practicing and recommending its use.  On the homepages of Contemplative Outreach may be found two of Fr. Keating's most wonderful books--in their entirety--available for free.  These books, The Kingdom of God is Like and Crisis of Faith, Crisis of Love are presented chapter by chapter for your ease of reading.  A third book, The Mystery of Christ:  Liturgy as Spiritual Experience is also available.  This book is a wonderful look at the liturgical year and the spiritual lessons drawn throughout the season.
